Biondo line lock install in YJ ??

The line lock has two female 3/8 NPT inlets on it but these don't have the small cone inside to which the flare of the tube would press fit against. I assume I need to get some adapters. I'm planning to plumb it in between the master cylinder and the proportioning valve (stock setup). I'm thinking of reusing the front line that goes from the master to the prop so now it will go from the master to the line lock. I'll buy a new line to go from the line lock to the prop valve.

My problem is the original line has 3/16 size tube but has a 5/16 size flare nut on it ! The only adapter I found that goes from 5/16 to 3/8 has a 1/4 or so size cone inside to which the 3/16 flare will not fit... If this makes any sense to you, you're lucky.

How did you plumb in the line lock? What adapters or lines did you use and where did you get them? Do I have to make new custom lines?

Re: Biondo line lock install in YJ ??

I plumbed mine the same way, and bought the install kit when I bought the line-lock. In the kit it had various lines and fittings. Even with all the parts in the kit, I still spent about 1/2 hour going thru the fittings at a local NAPA to get one to work. I ended up running a new line from the master to the linelock, then a new one from the linelock to the prop valve.
