Re: Cool Jip!!!

It's real...

I've seen a couple running around Jeep Headquarter. If they do make it, it'll most likely have the 3.7L for a base engine and 4.7L as the optional engine. The 4.0L engine is gone because the original manufacturer went belly up since DCX was demanding an instant cost reduction of 5-10% from all their suppliers.

Re: Cool Jip!!!

Four words:

I love that Jeep!!

Man the things I could do with that.

Sorry more than four, but I couldn't help myself.

Re: Cool Jip!!!

That thing is sweet.
I could build one of those into an unbelievable trail rig.
I doubt if I would buy one new, since I would put the grinder and welder to it before the engine cooled off in the driveway. I hope they build it soon, so that used ones can be available soon after.

Re: Cool Jip!!!

I really hope it has the long box like the orange one and not the stretched "scambler" of the black one.
I want a driver(toy) that I can "work" in. I'll build my full blown toys.

Re: Cool Jip!!!

Sweet!! That is a great looking rig. Jeep just needs to keep the $$ under control. Ruby is upper 20k thats pushing the budget for a fun rock crawler. Especially after you install some extras.

Re: Cool Jip!!!

Is that a DC display or an AEV display. The orange one has an AEV sticker across the windshield.

Re: Cool Jip!!!

I really like this Jeep! It reminds me of the old Willys pickups. I think that it would look great with four doors and the bed. Jeep could really put a dent in the Nissan and Ford market. And if they are going with the Willys look they should come out with a Jeep Wrangler wagon. Not the Liberty or Cherokee but something that really looks like the old Willys wagons. But who am I? Re: Cool Jip!!!

I like it.... a lot....

I used to have a '94 ranger & I miss it.... best of both worlds there... hopefully it would come with a soft-top too.
