How much Jeepin\' have you done this year?

I was just thinking of how much I actually got to go Jeepin' this year... was wondering if I was high, low, average for folks on this board....

I counted 20 days of Jeepin so far this year at 11 different places. By days of Jeepin' I mean, days that I spent at least several hours out on the trail...

How 'bout you?
-Mel

Re: How much Jeepin\' have you done this year?

I come in a little bit under that mostly because I moved this year, from a place where I used to go a lot, to where I live now, it is a lot harder to get away to go, and to find people to go with me. I bet I have about 10-13 days of GOOD playing. I will go out and kick around a lot more than that but nothing really serious, just playing in puddels and what not.

You know your welcome to ride in the Ho anytime. Especially in the next few weeks before URE closes. Chris can't get anything going , wanna come up and ride?

I'm at 27 days this year, not counting the local stuff/day trips. I just lie too fr from anything to reall get out a lot.I wheeled on the outer banks, croatan, uwharrie, tellico, and monteagle. once a month is plenty for me if its good wheeling.

I've gone twice! Once when we got half an inch of rain and I went out to a buddies field, and the other time to the Dakota Challenge. Of course my Jeep wasn't running for most of the summer.

I've only made it out about 5-6 times this year Oh well, there's always next year. Our club is possibly planning a trip to Moab next May or so, so that'll count for about 5 next year

Define Jeepin!

If you mean doin' the Jeep thing which includes working on it, I have spent way more time than I should have rebuilding my CJ.

If you mean trail use, see my first response!

Re: Define Jeepin!

I went to the 'Cruses Chili Challenge this spring, did a Pro-Rocks here this summer and the Cedar City meet this fall, Avalance Ranch grand opening, about 5 trips to the Rock Garden area and about 10 times out to Choke Cherry ... but usually there was no one there so I dasn't do anything fun and crazy alone.
Not bad, I guess ... but I'm trying to cultivate a few more friends who want to go out on the weekends and try some really hard rock crawling.
That's the only way you get to be a better driver.

I got out twice this summer.
I found a new hobby this summer (Canoe Sailing) that I'll pursue during warmer months, I have the whole Chesapeake bay to play on and no "No Trespassing" signs to worry about.
I will be chasing snow storms this winter thought, bald tires and all.
