OT - I need a recipe!!

As we all know, the holidays are comming up very fast. With them comes the tradition of giving gifts. Now I'm not a selfish man, but I can't see spending Jeep money on gifts for people I have to put up with (ie, boss, secratary, girl-friends parents). So, with this in mind, I have decided to give everyone a homemade present. I need a recipe for homemade schnapps, any and all flavors. I know this is a family show, so it might be best not to post the recipie so we can keep it out of the hands of children but if anybody could e-mail me some I would greatly apreciate it. Thanks.

Great Idea! As long as the people you are giving this too are not going to be offended by getting wellll booze as a present. I know that I would think it was a good gift, and most of my friends would like it too, and in fact I my follow your lead, money it tight this time of year because as it gets cold, jeep parts break.

I have a little bit of experence when it comes to the making of the booze. I won't get into it, but one very important thing to keep in mind is that if you are going to be heating liquid, make sure that it DOES NOT get any warmer than 73 Deg F. Because if it does the the "Booze" will boil off, and you will end up with a drink with no zip.
Good luck, Good Idea, Have fun with it.

1. Booze is tacky!
2. How about a simple donation to a charity, shelter, off-road assocaiton, Non-Profit in their name?
3. Works for me!

Re: OT - I need a recipe!!

I thought it would be a great gift. I used to make beer and wine, but I haven't had time in the last 3 years to do any of that. I always gave those as gifts and people really liked them. I thought this would be fairly easy and quick.
