t18 crossmenber mount

i looked at my t15 today an the cross menber mount is built on the trany.
how do you guys do it?

the ford t18 i have has a mount where the adapter to the d20 goes but nothing on hte trany. does the the adapter have the mount on it ?

My Ford T18/ Dana 20 combo has the crossmember mount on the adaptor plate. Attached is a picture for reference.

PBM, do you have a source for the original style rubber mount? i can't find one for mine. as i recall, its about 8" long. thanks for any info!

I'm not sure what mine is from, I know it is a stock item though, it came on the tranny/t-case combo when I bought it(it's about 8" long also).

mine did too, but it looks too bad to run. so, i tried looking for a new one and couldn't find anything even close.

what year, make, and model is your trans and tranny out of?

I don't really know, it was all built by someone else. All I know is the tranny is a Ford T18, t-case is a Scout twin stick Dana 20 with EB gears in it. I can call the guy tonight and see what mount he puts on them when he sells them.

When I had the combo in my CJ5 I used the factory crossmember, but moved it back to the second set of holes in the frame do to the longer length. When I built the CJ7, I did make my own crossmember out of 1.5* tubing and flat plate since I raised the engine/tranny/t-case up about 2".
