Why wont my 87 4 cylinder run under 3000 rpm?

I just bought an 87 with the 4 cylinder. It is fuel injected.
It will start right up and then die immediately if you dont "floor it". If you let the rpm's fall below 3000 it will die.
Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks in advance.

I'll post a quick guess... I look first for vacume leak. Sounds like it could be fairly big leak. Good luck.
