Thanks to all

i wanted to thank you guys for some of the nice replies to my post on going in for surgery. I am recovering ok I guess. I would probably not do it again though.

One thing that was totally depressing was, The other night on the new the medical industry has released a artifical disc to replace ones that are degenerative or herniated. Go figure right after I get the surgery and a nice zipper. a anterior one too they come out with this minimal invasive surgery. Just my luck.

I have been tinkering with the Jeep a tad and doing little things. I want to do more but I do not want to do the surgery thing everrrrrr again so I am takin it kinda easy.

But anyway thanks for thoughts...

Glad to hear that everything went well and that you are recovering well. Be careful, the Jeep will still be there when you are feeling better.

Re: Thanks to all

Good to hear your doing ok. Take it easy on that back trust me the more you let it heal the better it will be.

It took me about a year to get where most things didn't make it hurt bad. I still feel it everyday and its pretty much normal to me now I wouldn't know what a day with out back pain is. But then it was over 6 months from when I hurt my back till I had surgury because of the local so called specialist said that it wasn't bad enough to operate on even though I could hardly walk but then when he said I'd just have to live with it. I went to see another Doctor up in the cities and after another MRI I had surgury the next month but because of the time frame and the disk pressing on the nerve all that time the nerve got damaged and may never get back to normal. I wouldn't want to go through it again either but don't take me wrong the surgury helped but I'm just one of those that won't get back to 100%.

So let that back heal and don't press it the Jeep understands and will wait! Remember you have a 90% greater chance of reinjuring that back then someone who hasn't had surgury.
