Some one wants to give me a Cherokee need advice?

One of my brothers friends wants to give me a 85 Cherokee that has everything but the motor which was a 4 banger. I am wondering if anyone knows what the diffs would be on this and the tranny and t-case. You know as much about it as I do and I am not really interested in driving to go get this if its not worth getting some good stuff off of.

Oh yeah the right side is wiped out. I would guess it is a D30 and D35 but I am hoping.......... I am sure someone will know what came behind the 4 cylinder normally.

If anything I think it has the HP/RR D30 up front. That'd be nice to have!

not exactly a specific answer but this will put you in a good direction...

One good point - for most part XJ (and MJ, YJ, TJ, even some CJ) w/manual trans and 4cyl had 4.10 axle gears

Thanks I am hoping this thing had the towing package as a option. I would get the Dana 44 then How ever according to your link there is a small chance that it would have the 8.25 not something I really want to get but I think I am going to make the trip.
