Dana Idea??

I been thinking, about my Dana 300 and flat towing the CJ. If I made the oil level in the Dana 300 highter, when I was towing it, so the out put shaft bearing was running in oil, would this work? There must be a problem with this or some one would be doing it. I would like to hear what you guys think, thanks.

Re: Dana Idea??

Hey,cjjeepercreeper, do you think the transfer case would be protected with the oil level highter? I thought about useing the vent tube and running it up to a canister to take care of the oil. I got the engine out with the transmission and transfer case, and I thought it would be a good time to try to rig up something.
