Advanced Adapters or Novak?

Hi all, I am swapping a Ford 302/NP435 into my 86 CJ-7 and am to the stage where I need to purchase an adapter for my Dana 300. As I see it, I have two choices...Novak adapters, or Advanced adapters. They are both very similar in price, so I'm looking for some feedback from anyone that has either of these adapters. I am leaning towards the Novak right now, but I want to be sure I am getting the better adapter plate for $500 bucks! Any feedback appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Advanced Adapters or Novak?

Have not purchased this adapter, but the parts and service I have gotten from Novak before has been great. I am planning future purchases through Novak. They have no problem working with you, making special requests and all.

Re: Advanced Adapters or Novak?

I've had a Novak adapter in my CJ-7 for 12 years, no problems what so ever. Earlier this year I sent it back to have it re-drilled so I could clock the d-300. Acording to Eric, their current production units are already drilled for clocking. As mentioned, the people are super to deal with.

Awesome! Well, if they've been in business over 12 years, that is a bonus, and if your adapter has held up that long, then I feel very confident about the level of workmenship. Novak it is. Thanks guys!

Re: Advanced Adapters or Novak?

Novak all the way! Great service and products. Eric has been a great help to me. I have a sm420 tranny and I purchased some parts from them and some locally but was unable to find some dogs for it anywhere. I called Eric on another project and mention I was having trouble finding a set of dogs that werenít just dogged out and he sent me a set that he had at his house that he was saving for his project. Thatís GOOD customer service!!

Novak all the way!!
