Update on tranny swap!!!!

Well I got the SM465 in and done I hope. I had to do alot of crossmember work and alot of floor pan cover work but other than that, went as smoothe as one could expect. I got to take it on a short test drive down the road. Hopefully I will get to take it out soon and see if that granny gear helps out any. If any one decides to do this swap, let me know and I can tell you what to watch out for. Novak didn't cover all the little quirks that you will run into. It pays to have a grinder, cutting torch, and welder when doing this swap.

Congratulations Robert! You canít beat granny low. I havenítí been able to tear mine apart and find my problem yet. My Son blew a head gasket this week and the dang truck has multiport FI. It has been a pain in the ass! [img]images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
