what does this mean on dana 60
I talked to a guy last night about a dana 60 with the 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern out of a Jeep truck. He said that on the pig where they put the 60 it has the 60 but then there is a 2 right after it. Does this mean anything to anybody? Is it anything special or rare? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Re: what does this mean on dana 60
the dana 60-2 is generally used in ford vans, it has a different carrier setup than the normal dana 60 in order to allow taller gears than the regular dana 60 will take, normal 60's are limited to 3.50 the 60-2 goes into the 2's I have no idea if that will take really deep gears or not.
