Re: Broke A Universal Maybe Driveshaft

Your pics arent showing up at all... Depending how bad the scaring is on the driveshaft I wouldn't worry to much... You could take it to a machine shop and make sure its still balanced...

Re: Broke A Universal Maybe Driveshaft

Well I just went to the auto parts store grabbed a new u joint under warranty guy asked how much off roading I do I said just a couple backroads Installed it and drove home all fine and stuff but I hear a rubbing coming from underneath and it is my front driveshaft rubbing my exhaust . I think an exhaust mount broke when the rear drive shaft was flying around under there cause my muffler took a beating!!! So I am going to the shop tomorrow and doing some fixing up.

Re: Broke A Universal Maybe Driveshaft

Well That didn't last long..... I still have u joint problems. I have new u joint new straps and bolts. But I noticed today I can see daylight through the strap and u joint!! Thats not normal to what I think, S it is still moving around back there. Any opinions on what it might be??? Maybe yoke but thats gonna cost some coin that I don't have I keep climbing under there for now and re adjusting it, only the one cap moves around under there its weird.

Did you check and see if your driveshaft was still balanced?
