Need to know actual TJ idle rpm

Does anybody know what the actual rpm at idle is supposed to be on a TJ? The tach is pretty much worthless except for guesstimating to the nearest 500 rpms, and I can't find anything that states what it should be exactly. All of my net searches keep yielding computer code meanings. I'm guessing between 600-750 rpm, but need to know exactly what it is. I'm trying to figure out what gear ratio & hydraulic pump to use with the pto I have. This is impossible to figure correctly without knowing what rpm I'll be running it at, which leads to my other post on hydraulic pressure.
