Re: Looking for used yj springs.
I don't know how much you want to spend, but last year I had to replace my YJ's springs. I didn't want a giant lift, but I couldn't see spending the crazy cash for OEM replacements at a dealer.

I ended up getting a "Rough Country" 1.5" lift for my Wrangler. It was about $450 shipped if I remember right. It included springs, shocks, transfercase lower brackets and longer bolts. It was the lowest lift I could find without going back with stock springs.

I installed it myself(was far from a fun job, but I guess it would have been easier if I had undone the trtack bars, lol) and it has done great so far. Not enough lift where I am in fear of flipping on highway turns, but enough clearance to stop my 31's from eating into my fenderwells.

Re: Looking for used yj springs.
Thank you Mike. What I am doing is looking for springs for my Sami. Did you notice if they sold those 1.5" lift spring by them selves and if so how much. Thank you again.

Re: Looking for used yj springs.
Sorry, I needed shocks as well, so I was happy to find a kit.

You can probably find them online and ask them if they do a deal with only the springs....

Re: Looking for used yj springs.
I have some 89 YJ springs that I'll sell you pretty cheap if you can pay for shipping. I have no idea how much that will be. I am in zip code 27858 if you can figure it out somehow. Let me know if you're interested. Send me an email at [email protected]

Re: Looking for used yj springs.
There is a guy locally (Maine) selling a set of 4" lifted ones. Check out the for sale section of

Shipping is usually about $30 to anywhere in the country for 2 of them. I have sold a lot to other Zuk owners, and have a method I use. Just bolt 2 of them together and wrap in tape, then stick the tag to the outside. The USPS, I have found, is the cheapest, but they only accept up to a 70 lb package. Not a problem as only the 6 leaf YJ springs are heavier than 70 lbs (73 actually) when coupled as a pair.{83063206-B4...A}/picture.JPG
