? Type Welder needed to repair motor mounts

What type of welder would be needed to secure the "base" of the motor mounts to the frame of the 92 wrangler / 4cyl ?
The mount the the new motor mount bolts to is broken, and seems to be "tack welded" onto the frame and held with one bolt.
I have a lincoln 220 arc, and oxy/acyt but i think mig would be the answer. So question is, would a $200 cheap mig welder from homedepot be sufficient to reweld this base to the frame, them bolt on the motormount- this is the right side of vehicle, as the mounts are differnet for the left. thanks

A cheap mig should do the job fine, if the weld quality is good. I would think your arc should slao work fine?

good luck
