???1947 Willys CJ2A???

The Maryland Mudbugs 4X4 Club are the proud new owners of a 47 CJ2A. We want to restore it for parades and car shows. I am trying to find the gap setting for the points. It has the L-134 Go Devil. You can see pics of the restore at www.marylandmudbugs.com
Thanks and hope to see you in the mud

Re: ???1947 Willys CJ2A???

According to my Univeral Jeep Service Manual "The contact gap should be set at .020" [0,508 mm.] measured with a wire gauge." This is also what's on the spec chart for the Autolite distributor. For a Delco-Remy distributor it lists .022" [0,56 mm.] HTH. If you need any more info from this manual let me know. I have the red '62 CJ-3B that rode with you guys last month. Regards,

Hey, I've been looking at your site and don't see any club membership info. I was thinking of joining so I could at least join your weekly rides. Could you point me to the info? Thanks,
