Re: Lining inside my Jeep?

Most people like Herculiner or Durabak for a low-cost, DIY job. A gallon is about $100 and enough to do a jeep interior. Try search, there's been plenty of discussion.

Re: Lining inside my Jeep?

Do a search on Durabak or Line-X or Rhino lining or Hurculiner or tub liner or tub lining. There are several big threads on this isue and should answer most if not all of your questions. I am also going to be doing this real soon and I just read through all the posts. Good Luck.

Re: Lining inside my Jeep?

Well I probably go with either Durabak or Herculiner, but I would like to know which one is better?

I don't know about the Durabake, but I have the Herculiner and I really like it and would do it again. If that helps.

Re: Lining inside my Jeep?

I have Herculiner in my tub and it's Ok stuff, but if I had to do it over again I'd save and put Line-X or Rhino-liner in it. The DIY kits just don't put it on thick enough for me. One good scratch from any part or tool laying in the foor board will go right though it. The "expensive" spray jobs can be up to 1/4 " thick! now that's what I'm talking about. OH and did I mention that the DIY kits are a real B!TCH to do, wear a long-sleeve shirt with big rubber gloves (the kind a dishwasher would wear) once this stuff gets on your skin it doesn't come off! and yes I tried everything for 2 weeks.

Re: Lining inside my Jeep?

There is some stuff called rattle guard you can buy this off the guy that owns the company for a song on ebay. Go to ebay and do a search for rattleguard. Also do a search for rattleguard here and you will find a good post. I put up directions and all including ordering sources.

I have been a Master Dupont Autorefinisher for years and this stuff is the best out there in my opinion. It is a epoxy/urethane based liner which is the best of both worlds. I went and looked up the link just click below
