my ring and pinion is singing. Help me fix it!!

I had put in a Detriot locker w/ 4.10's last years. I found out, after a hole appeared in my AMC 20 diff. cover, that a couple of bolts fell out of the ring gear and the rest were just finger tight. After cleaning everything out of the housing, I inspected the ring and pinion. Everything looked fine. (I'm lucky!!) I put some new bolts in with lock tight and did the same with all the others that were loose. I didn't pull the locker out of the housing and did two or three bolts at a time making sure not to looses the ring gear entirely. After getting the cover on and fluid in, she sings at high speeds. Any ideas why?? Did the ring clock on the locker while loose? Would this cause this? Where do I go from here??
