fog light questions

Well, I just wired up a nice light bar with 4 x 100watt offroad lights and I also kept my two factory mounted fog lights. Now, my question for you guys is, is there any type of replacement lense for the factory lights that won't crack with cold? I was recently doing a night run and hit a patch of muddy water. After I got done with the run and was doing my post-run inspection, I noticed my two factory lights had cracked lenses. I figured it must have been when the water splashed up on the glass it must have cracked. I just need to know where to look to find like a high-density plastic lense or something of that sort.

Thanks,
DaMoose

Re: fog light questions

Your not alone, the factory fog lights on our Durango were both cracked within a month of owning it. I don't know if it was from impact or water/snow/ice, but it really sucked.

Re: fog light questions

The only way I've found to stop fog lights from cracking when going in the water is to turn them off before going in. They get way hotter than headlights. I've lost count of how many I've cracked; now I just shut them off before I get to the water.
