Extra switches in TJ how and were to get them from

Same TJ he has his ARB switches mounted in were the stock rear wiper etc..etc.. are mounted. We have both seen the switches mounted were the ash try is how have you guys done this and were did you get the stock looking plate? We have to move them because his big knees keep bouncing off the switches while hes wheeling causing the ARBs to turn off. Anyone have a how to page on this one or pics of how they did it? Thanks

Re: Extra switches in TJ how and were to get them from

Get another one of the pieces that holds the switches, and 3 more switches (or blanks if you don't need all 3). Then take out the ashtray and it's mount and screw on the new block. There was someone selling the parts on ebay a couple months ago, but I just searched for them and can't find anything. Those switches were going for $20-25, not sure about the mounting block. You can go to the dealer and get the stuff, but probably not very cost effective. That is a crappy spot for the switches, that's why I put a main cutoff by my 4x4 shifter when I put my winch control switch there. And I still hit the rear wiper about every time I go to 1st gear.

Here you go, I did a little more searching. $6.00 to buy it now on ebay for the bezel. Then you just need the switches. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1868273030

Mike,
I have a spare tj center switch section. I have a couple extra swithces too.. I'll send them to you. if you want to make both power pionts work you'll have to do a little trimming... but it works good.

Looks like Gooddogs won the ebay auction for the switches in question, but here is another source for them for the rest of us:

Elusive, if the other guys doesn't want the center switch section or switches i could use em. I was just about to add another section in place of the ash tray. I could sne some monetary units via Paypal if you would like.
