Could some of you \'splain things to this guy?

I'd like this to get nipped in the bud before we have another useless & stupid forum war.

Will that do?

I still haven't got the mirror to work. I unsoldered the dimmer part from the glass, when I get the new frame in, I'll try it again.

Mirror

I can't imagine what's up with that thing - it worked perfectly for me for several months. Are you certain there's nothing wrong with your wiring? Does your alt put out more than 14.6V? Was it against the side of the box when you got it (maybe damaged during shipment)? ???

Re: Could some of you \'splain things to this guy?

Did what I could. I remember getting in useless arguments about what was better Ford or Chevy as a kid. Not enough jeeps around her to argue with people! My best friend wheels a toyota. I tell him that I'll pull him out when he gets stuck, and he says I have to since he carries all the gear! *grin* So far he's been just about everyplace with the 'yota that I've been with the jeep, though now I'm not certain he can keep up with me now that I'm taller and running bigger rubber....still he WILL have to carry the gear when we go wheelin' together! (well....at least until I get the safari rack finished for the hardtop!)
