Hydraulic clutch conversion

I am instaling a hydraulic clutch conversion in my 78 CJ5. I received all the parts from Parts Mike and I got the 5/8" ball. Where does this go? I understand where everything else goes. I have done a search and couldn't find anything. I have also checked on monsterslayer.com and it does not say anything about it.

Re: Hydraulic clutch conversion

is it maybe the pivot ball that goes behind the clutch fork? there should already be one in there though ( from the factory) maybe Mike ships a spare, or a new one for it to work better?

thats speculation on my part, but I think that ball is about 5/8 and just a big ball bearing.

Re: Hydraulic clutch conversion

It looks like it does go behind the clutch fork. I can't get it in there with out taking the transmission off. Does it need to go in there or if the cluch disengauges can I just leave it off?
