trans mount placement

So my front output shaft yoke was hitting m transmission mount...i decided to move the foward, to the next available slot, this of course changed the angles of the engine and made the fan rub thh plastic problem, i'll trim it...

Are there any other problems that could come from this?
Is the trans mount something that can be repositioned safely, or is there only one set position for it?

On a good note, When I moved the mount, the catalytic converter no longer rested on the skidplate, now the cat sits nearly horizontal, not touching anything, so, I think this was the orignal plcement of the mount, as I bought the jeep used...Any ideas on this would be helpful,
