avalanche tie rods

has anyone purchased the Avalanche HD tie rods for CJ's? I know the tie rod its self is MUCH bigger but what about the ends? I am looking into it but would love some feed back It looks like the "shank" is bigger but what about the actual end?

Re: avalanche tie rods

I can't speak for the avalanche tie rods cause I don't have them. However just as an example, I just built my own for much less. I believe I spent $85 or so and built two tie rods (one for a spare). With 5/8 Heims. I have also built a new drag link also. I just have to buy the heims for it now.

Re: avalanche tie rods

For tie rods check out the rock rods at rockstomper They are very tough and quality. They use the large GM tie rod ends, but you could just as easy use a heim joint end. Also easy to make on your own if you have the taps.
