4.0L head on 4.2L engine

I have read the write-up by Tony Carricaburu on installing a 4.0L head on a 4.2L engine and I have several questions. Where does the 40 additional HP come from? Better breathing? Higher compression ratio? etc.
I live and play at 7200 feet and above. The 4.2L engine in my 1988 Wrangler YJ is anemic at these altitudes and I am looking for a reasonable way to gain some HP without creating engine problems.
Does anyone know how I can contact Tony. E-mail address would be helpful if it is OK with Tony.

Thanks,
Dick Osterhof

Re: 4.0L head on 4.2L engine

John's site is a good one, and he's pretty easy to get ahold of if you have any questions. I can attest to the hp gain, I've ridden in his Jeep many times, wheel with him, and have spotted for the heavy footed guy twice in competitions. BUT, his high teck 4.0 head mopar FI CJ was only a few tenths quicker than my slightly tweaked Weber equipped 258 in the sand drags last weekend!
