Carter BBD rebuild kit - questions.

How much would a rebuild kit for the carter run, and what would it contain?
And no, switching over to a MC2100, a Weber, or buying another Carter are way way way out of my proce range at the moment.

More specifically, I'm looking to see if it would contain one of the venturi cluster screws (the one with a hole that runs the vertical length of the screw). I busted the head off of one, and I did get the rest of it out with no damage to the carb, but noone around here seems to carry just that screw.
So I was figuring if the only way I can get that screw is to buy a rebuild kit, I may as well do it that way.

Re: Carter BBD rebuild kit - questions.

BlueYJ just did a BBD rebuild. Shoot him a PM and ask. I don't think that it would come with parts like that, but you never know. Someone here may have a spare BBD after a swap, maybe they'd part with it.

I've got a BBD left over from my Howell TBI swap. I'd be happy to send you a venturi screw out of it. Send me an e-mail with your mailing address and I'll ship it right out if you cant find one localy.

Re: Carter BBD rebuild kit - questions.

Nope, the Sorensen rebuild kit I got did not have the screws, in fact it did not even have the venturi gaskets.

Sorry, don't have any extra, just the ones in my carb.
