I took your guys advise but one more question ?

I had another one of the know it alls stop by and tell that I was screwing up again, While I was bolting on my intake and carb. I told him that I was doing it the way I had planned and if he wanted to do all these so called major improvements to go buy a F%$#ing jeep and leave me alone.

Anyway here is my question I am ready to sit the motor in and I need a decent set of motor mounts for under $70.00. What is a good brand?

Just get the rubber ones fron any of the parts houses. They are cheap and work fine.

These are a little above your price range, but they are suposed to be very good.

I had 150k miles on my stock 304 mounts and have 40k miles on the new mounts I used when I swapped in a 360 and they do just fine.

No need for anything other than a stock mount unless you are running mucho hp. Just make sure they interlock in case they break.

You may also want to run a short piece of snubber chain from the block to the frame, just in case it could break. It's cheap insurance and isn't even noticed until it's needed.
