Does this axle look new to you? Ford 8.8

As subject says... this was supposed to be a brand new 8.8 from Ariel Performance, atleast that's what I was told over the phone, and on his ebay auction...

Here's a link to the pictures, they are relatively large due to quality...

Looks pretty new to me, just a bit dusty. I'm not sure what's up with pic 55. Can't quite tell what's on there. How much you get it for?

Pic55 shows the rust, and the dripping paint, which made me think it was a old tube re-painted...

Pic 55 shows fords attention to detail and quality is job 1.

Actually, they look new. Or they have been rebuilt after tanking the tubes and pumkin. And then rebuilt with NEW parts.

Its new no doubt. The missing paint may be the reason he has gotten such a good deal on them and then sell them at such a good price. They could be nothing more then seconds, and that could be the reason they are seconds.

Re: Does this axle look new to you? Ford 8.8

Hell missing paint don't mean nothing to me.. gotta strip it down to weld on the new mounts.. after that It will be getting a nice new coat of paint

Seconds are ok too as long as the shafts are 100% ok Since new gears are going in too

thNx for all the replys
