Roll Cage on a TJ

I have a 2000 TJ that im looking to put a FULL roll cage in. I have seen some that connect in between the door and the dash and I think thats what I want. Does anybody know where I can buy one, and how much they cost? I have heard that they are really easy to install.

Re: Roll Cage on a TJ

Good idea on the full cage. However if you do any serious wheeling whatsoever, you will want something sturdier than a cage that mounts to the dash. At the very least you want it mounted to the body, and ideally you want it tied in to the frame.

Most guys on here will tell you to fab your own, which is probably the most fun and least expensive way to do it. However if you want a bolt in, I know that M.O.R.E. makes a pretty decent system.

Here is a link to their site:

There was a video posted a few weeks ago of a TJ taking a nasty roll. It had the roll cage attached to the dash and it held up very well.

Re: Roll Cage on a TJ

I have the same one as infantry yj...
I welded it in about a day. it gives you a template and molding to go through the dash. it also gives you new flexible A/C ducting. great looking cage, tied to the floor, and it was cheap.
