Where to Offroad?

Does anyone know of a site or anything that can tell me places in my state that are good for offroading? I live in Minnesota.

Re: Where to Offroad?

Your best bet would be to join a local club. That way you get to see all the wheeling spots, and have some ppl to wheel with.

Re: Where to Offroad?

Another good idea would be to go to the main menu and ask this question on the "where to go off roading" board. You will probably get even more responces there.

Re: Where to Offroad?

Howdy, where in Minnesota are you from? I am a co-founder of a Minnesota/Wisconsin club called North Country 4x4. We use land in western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota. With the occasional "road trip." And yes, we do have permission to use the land that we do. Lately we have been using land in western Wisconsin (not northwest, but a tad more north than the middle, if that makes sense ) in a place called Cushing. The land up there is awesome to go riding on. There is a GIGANTIC mud hole that no one has yet dared to try to cross. However, I am going to try it on the next run we do.

We are planning to have a fall run sometime in October. We welcome anyone who wants to come. Since our club is new, we are going to let everyone automatically be a member for free who comes to the next run. We have to start someplace, and we think that is the best way to start. So if you, or if anyone else is interested in coming, please PM (DO NOT E-MAIL! IT DOES NOT WORK) me for details. Hopefully we'll get a good turnout. We have about 8 trucks that we are pretty sure will make it out for sure. Remember, ANYONE is welcome! Thanks guys!
