HELP ! UJ\'s giving me grief...

Someone has jammed a vibrator under my seat ? ... NO its a buggered UJ on the prop...

Well after looking up in the manual what a UJ was... [kidding]... i ordered two and ripped em off... then figured it was not going to be easy doing it on the rig so i ripped the front one off after marking the rotation points to keep them the same...

then heated the outers of the prop... whatever they are called... and got a biggy socket and a littley socket lined themn up and gave them a belt...

the one that was replaced by the dickhead shop in April was ceased in place and compoletely stuffed - SOME GREASE MIGHT HAVE BEEN A GOOD IDEA DORKS !!!... but the one that had been in place best i can tell for some 15 yeard was almost perfect - pretty well greased still and spins nicely without binding or sticking... its getting replaced anyway so who cares...

Well ripped them both out and left with a bloody greasy mess !... covered it in PB blaster ... to get all the old crap off... well its all clean and dandy now.

DO YOU THINK I CAN figure out how the hell to get the UJ's back in place ? NO. I bloody can't.

HOW ???

Urgent ! Going froadin this weekend and need to sort it ! arghrgrhgrrhgrhgrg

I hope he means U-Joint. Just do a search ixplorer. A 5" C-clamp and couple of sockets is all it took to do mine. Wasn't hard at all.

i dunno why everyone always comes to me with their u-joint problems, but its been like that for a while, they are easy to do, by the way a BFH is great getting them out but will have you screaming bloody friggin murder when you lose the needle bearings after the first good whap if you dont have a good hold of 'em, trust me, ive never cussed so much when i did my brother -n- laws 87 f150 and lost the bearings twice, that was a few years ago before i invested in some c-clamps...
