Dana 300 problems

I've got an 83 cj-7 with a dana 300 case and the the linkage between the shift forks rattles. Any tips on how to silence this?
Also, my 4wheel drive light comes on at random times...any hints on how to remedy this?

Thanks,

Tim

Re: Dana 300 problems

Try replacing the bushings that fit in the shift fork.

There is a little screw in sender on the shift fork. Replace that and you should be good to go.

A blob of grease on the linkage shut mine up real quick.
