Looks like the spawn of an FJ40 and a Range Rover to me.

Those things are ugly as sin. I would drive one though if it was given to me!

REALLY ugly....the CCV though for under 10k new? Hmmmm....might be onto something for rental companies...sorta like the Kia Sportage (had one for a rental while wife's car was in the shop--won't do THAT again!). You have to wonder what kind of aftermarket support there is though....

Re: Interesting Jeep Looking Picture --

I wouldn't be too critical of them ..heck .. some of the rigs here, as rightous and well equipped as they are, would be considered something out of a Road Warrior or Thunder Dome nightmare in them thar parts.

What I don't quite get a grip on is the radical difference in styling. For example there is virtually NO pickup market anywhere else in the world. The "would be" pick ups are more like flatbeds (high - above the wheel) beds that are more suited for moving max cargo. Now this makes sense ..but why don't we have them ..as standard offerings...?

What makes the rest of the world (4/5 of the planet) view driving (in any/all circumstances) soooooooo differently then we do? It can't be JUST because they pay $4.50 a gallon for gas. ...maybe it's the water

Bleech! Puke! Snort...

Sorry, I HATE the looks of those. Anyone remember when they tried importing the ARO into the US? They looked a little better, but still similar, though not as bulgy.
