Cj7 Grill question - Spinning bolts

Hey all,

I just got done flat fendering my CJ7 with the Bushwacker flares, Custom Shock hoop, and some other things. I have had troubles with the bolts holding the fenders to the grill. The nuts are either spinning or just plain crappy. I am going to remove the grill this weekend and try to retap the nuts or replace them.

Am I able to replace them? Can I remove the old and tack weld in some new? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Cj7 Grill question - Spinning bolts

Once you get it open, you'll see that they're 'captured' in some sheet metal. Little square pieces (IIRC) drilled and tapped. You should be able to jam a screwdriver or something in there to get them out, but I'd spray them with penetrating oil to make life a little easier.
