Help removing NP231 rear output shaft bushing

I need to replace my rear output shaft bushing on a NP231 transfer case.Anyone know how to get that bushing out? Do you have to beat it out or what??

Use a bushing driver and drive the old out and the new in. The 231 manual says to remove it with the bushing and driver handle J-8092 and tool J-33839 and to install the replacent with driver handle J-8092 and tool T-33826 and the bushing is fully installed then the tool contacts the extension housing. Looking at the picture, the removal tool is just a bushing driver that has the same OD as the bushing so it will pass through the housing and the driver to reinstall has a shoulder to prevent the bushing fron being driven too deep.
