mud stains on soft top

I can't get the mud stains off my (black) Bestop soft top. I've tried soap and water and Simple Green. Any ideas?

Thanks

I had a friend who used that OxyClean stuff to remove stains from his tops. It worked pretty good. You can buy it in supermarkets now.

They're SUPPOSED to be there. Heck, some poseurs will pay big money for a mud-stained soft top!

Napa or Wallmart carry a bottle of purple power. 1.99 and a little scrub brush very little scrubbing. spray it with hose it will come out black. I use black majic tire wet after it dries and it will be as good as new. I do this about once a month.

Westley's bleach white (tire white wall cleaner) works great for my black top. (the few times that I wanted it that clean)
It also works for tons of other things too. I swear it will take the spots off a dalmation if you need too.

It just adds to the Character, even if I haven't been on a trail in a while it makes me feel better

I have noticed the same thing about my Supertop. The car wash sure won't get it off. I just use a scrub brush when I get around to cleaning mine.

yeah, I agree it shows character but sometimes you gotta wash it clean so black doesn't turn to yuk brown.
