Jeep engine swap

I have access to a number of late model fuel injection engines, right now I have a 72 350 Chevy. Is the bolt pattern the same on a newer chevy? What would be a good donor vehicle for the swap? Which is better for off-road TBI or TPI?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Jeep engine swap

Yes, the bolt pattern on all small blocks are the same as well as the 4.3 V6. There are several opinions on the TPI/TBI issue. I prefer TBI due to the simplistic and reliable approach. TPI tends to run high RPM power, TBI has lower end torque. If you have a couple extra TBI systems, send 'em my way!
