Ever seen a pogo stick?

Well, not a real one, but Infantry YJ 's jeep tried to be one last weekend. He did give it a good effort, but had to be reminded he wasn't going to get a ride home from anyone there..

Re: Ever seen a pogo stick?

I'd like to know why coil conversions on YJs do that when OEM TJ coil jobs don't ...

Re: Ever seen a pogo stick?

But that's a TJ Jaffer. Not sure what a coil conversion on a YJ does differently either. Enlighten me?

Re: Ever seen a pogo stick?

Well, the post sez, "Infnfantry YJ's jeep so I assumed ...

But really, I've witnessed a couple of coil conversions on the front of YJ's that do exactly that ... they'll come up to a steep obsticle and practically bounce right off it.

Just wondering cuz I'm building up a TJ frame and am trying to understand the dynamics of springs vs. coils.

Re: Ever seen a pogo stick?

Nice pic, I watched the video last night, it doesn't look as bad as it felt Ricky, I'll get you a copy eventually, but you need to get me a copy of Brenda's hill, David stopped filming after I got up Double Pull.

Jaffer, I got a TJ, the YJ on the name was from when I had a YJ.
