Jeep Engine Sawp

I have an 88 Jeep Wrangler with the 4.2L in it and I waswondering if it would be a straight sawp for a new 4.0L or not. Please respnond, and if anyone has already done it please tell me how it went. Thanks

I was wondering if everything would bolt up the same like the transfer case and the transmisson, or do i have to sawp that out?
