What is SYE??

I was wondering what SYE is. I have a 91 Wrangler and I am looking at putting 33" Muds and a 3.5 - 4 inch lift on. Also, I don't have to have a new driveshaft do I? I can use the stock one but at the risks right?
Thanks for any help.

Slip yoke eliminator. Wrangler with lift and no SYE is a mall cruiser only, no wheeling.

Re: What is SYE??

Slip Yoke Elminator. It would extend your current rear driveline by about 6". It makes a world of difference. I ran the stock slip yoke with 4" Susp on my TJ for about 2 years. I snapped the stock output shaft about a year ago now. Finally got around to installin the SYE last week and wheel the pi$$ out of it this past weekend. Makes a world of difference. ALthough a buddy of mine still runs the stock slip yoke on his TJ with 4".

Re: What is SYE??

If you have the $ when you put your SYE in, put the Terra Low 4:1 in too

Atleast that's what I`d do if I was putting another SYE in...
