Timing on a late model CJ7 258

I searched but couldn't find a definite answer. The PO dropped in a late model CJ258 into my 78. I'm running it with only the vacuum advance line and no other elec or vacuum crap. My question is, where does my timing need to be set?

At about 9 BTDC. That is what i have my nuttered 258 set at with just the vac. adv.
