Re: Weber gaskets ?

www.4wd.com carries the rebuild kit with gaskets. Otherwise, you could use the spacer as your template and make your own.

Re: Weber gaskets ?

A simple Google search is all it takes:
http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/catalogue/weber.htm On the other hand, why not buy a piece of gasket paper and make your own, or use a liquid gasket maker?

Re: Weber gaskets ?

You might want to do a search to confirm, but I believe we came to the conclusion a long time ago that the stock base gaskets (the ones for the mounting plates, not the carb itself) from the Carter carb will fit nicely with some very slight modification.
As for the carb gaskets, as the post above says, 4WD hardware has them, and your local Volkswagen speed shop probably stocks them too as the Webers are very popular on VW's. I get all my jets and stuff for my Weber from a local VW shop.

Re: Weber gaskets ?

While i of course appreciate your help - i do google searches all day and waas looking for info on those gaskets - i have been told by many so far that they are NOT in the rebuild kit... but no more. So google doesn't go into that much detail !

Anyone KNOW ??

Re: Weber gaskets ?

in addition to my above post, the rebuild kit that I bought did NOT come with the base plate gaskets. Only the internal carb gaskets.
