Newbie Introduction

Hi everyone,

I bought a 91 Wrangler this past summer when I was in Florida. I am now in Auburn, AL (going to school - WAR EAGLE!). It has a 4.0 L engine, 5-speed manual transmission. I have done NO work on it myself (yet!). However, I did need to have a significant amount of work done on the transmission. I found out I have 4:10 gears in the rear diff. and 3:07 in the front, so I can't use 4WD (again, yet) Otherwise, the body is in great shape, the engine runs great and the tranny is like new - haha!

So anyone else out there in the Auburn/Opelika area? I know there are a ton of Wranglers on the roads here, someone HAS to be online! I would like to get together with someone local to pick up tips and pointers, and to discuss the mods I eventually want to make.

Take it easy everyone,
Jess

Re: Newbie Introduction

I'm not one of the wranglers that you see on the road, but I am a local. The CJ is getting closer to being back up but just sits in the driveway right now. There are a few folks from town around on these boards. shoot me an e-mail if you want to get together and talk jeeps, drink a beer or whatever. [email protected]
