CJ JC Whitney Springs SOA

I know a bunch of people have gone with the 7 pack CJ rear springs, but I was wondering why not use the wrangler or the wagoneer springs? You get a longer spring with the other 2, right?!

Any pros or cons? Im getting real close to having to redo my suspension.

the cj rears (the 7 leaf packs anyway) are military wrapped. you could probably use the others listed but these are known to work good. i run the 7 leaf hd's at all 4 corners and i have been very pleased with them.

Re: CJ JC Whitney Springs SOA

I have a set of the JCwhitney 7leaf CJ springs. I bought them to use and decided against it but by that time it was too late to send back. If you interested in them PM me or email me. They haven't ever been used, just set in the weather for a lil bit.

I bought the Wrangler springs from JCW when building the CJ7, they lasted one or twp trips (yes, I have a t-bar and bumpstops) I switched the the CJ rears at all corners and they have survived 10+ hard runs w/o problems. There should be lots on here about the springs, and problems with the YJ ones.

i ran a set of used stock yj springs in the trear of mine and the first time i flexed them good one of them sagged bad. i have run stock rear cj spring and the jc whitney 7 leaf hd's and have not had the same problem.

Re: CJ JC Whitney Springs SOA

On JC Whitney's website I can't find the 7 Leaf HeavyDutys... are you buying a 9 leaf and removing 2?

What size/brand shackles are you running in the front/rear high5?
