10/12 bolt axle swap in a 76 cj5

I know i've seen cj5's with the 10/12 set up and i have a set of axle's accesable to me, and have personally tried to break the same axles in a full suze chevy (just to see how much they would take) and i couldnt, so its almost time to swap em in.... I just wanted to see if there is an article or something somewhere that would help me out, so's i dont screw up anything... any help would be appreciated, thanks

Re: 10/12 bolt axle swap in a 76 cj5

Ive tried searching through all the past posts to see if i could find the info i need but not much help yet, I wouldnt have posted this if i had found it through search first... anyways what im wanting to know is stuff like, which springs are best, the right way to outboard the front springs, best way to do a shackle reversal too, and info on steering from people that have done this swap, any info i can get would help a lot if anyone is willing to help

Check w/Avalance Engineering for a full size axle swap kit for CJs. It incorporates a shackle reversal as well. The outboard spring hangers allow for 10 different positions for the mount. Sounds like a good deal to me. Any opinions or experiences with this kit? I'm leaning towards buying it or modeling my own setup after it.

Here is a pic of the steering on my cj7. Bought the knuckle, steering arm, and spacer from parts mike. I made the tie rod and draglink. You can probably search for cj7jeep and find info/pics on the outboard setup or you can email me. Good luck.
