Full Traction 2\" Shackle Reversal??

Anyone using a Full Traction Shackle reversal lift? If so how do you like it, and would you recommend getting it. It provides 2" of lift, but cost $260 then add shipping and handling and new shocks. Would I be better off just getting a kit from Superlift, with everything included except drop pitman arm for $460? Thanks

It'll cost ya more than that. Gonna need a new long-travel driveshaft on top of that $260. Also, the 2"'s of lift is just for the front. So you'd need to do something about the rear. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyone wanna back me on that?

Agree with Jamgood. If you are just looking for lift, do that get a lift. A shackle reversal solves other problem-better handling on road, smoother ride. Yes you will need a new driveshaft for a shackle reversal or a new transfer case when the stock one bottoms out in it. Also with a shackle reversal, some fender triming in the front will be needed.

I think the rear is lifted with "extended boomerang type" shackles.

another good reason to get a set of lift "springs"
