Driveshaft swap: Dana 20 TC to Dana 35 rear end

I'm still gathering up parts for my t18 swap and need to know what driveshaft I'm going to need? Should I go with a CJ driveshaft, or something different? I've got the np231 in it now, so I can't reuse that driveshaft.

You should be able to use a CJ shaft, most likely it will have to be cut to length. Your other option ($$$) is to have a shaft made to your specs - you could get either a CV or a high-travel slip shaft. There may be a driveshaft shop local to you that can make you anything you want, or you could use an internet source like Tom Woods.

It really depends on how your rearend is setup and the angles that you'll be dealing with.

I've got the front driveshaft from the Cherokee the T18 came out of. It looks like its already got a CV on the end, would this work in my case if I just cut it down?

The front shaft will be too weak to hold up to rear end duty. You may be able to reuse the CV part and have a bigger shaft made up.
