Re: Dana35 w/Detroit

It's kinda like the new car.....the minute you roll it off the car lot, you just lost 10%. You will not get out of it what you have in it....

But...
A good used 35 is about $100
The Detroit will go for about 2/3's of what you paid for it.
The 4.10 gears are worth about $150..

But all packaged together....it's not worth quite as much as the sum of the parts....

Bottom line...if it was me....I wouldn't be intrested if it was over $500. The biggest problem is that it's a D35. Why pay that much for a 35 when for a little more you can have a D44 or Ford 9"....they may not have the Locker...but we can always add them later. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that your selling your D35 because you upgraded.

Good Luck.....

Re: Dana35 w/Detroit

Hi, Thanks for the info.. of course I`m in the midsts of upgrading.. im not dragging the rear around ;-)

I was thinking $450 was a fair price... it's under the $500 you mentioned, and about 1/2 of everything new..

Thanks!

Re: Dana35 w/Detroit

Then I would go $450....all you need is the right guy who needs a D35 setup the way you have it....Being in CA, you stand a better chance of getting that price...not including shipping.
