CJ stearing upgrade

I would love to upgrade the tie-rod & drag-link, it's a stock D 30 wide track. What company gives the best bang for the buck? I was looking at avalanche but I think they use the stock ends. looking at the size comparo on the rod they are a hell of alot bigger.

I'm looking for something that I can just order and put it on. I use the Jeep as a DD and the 35's are wearing the old ends out the kit is only about 200$ any thoughts??? TIA

Re: CJ stearing upgrade

May not work for you but I just made my own tie rod (and a spare) for about $90.00

I used Heim joints.

But my jeep is not a daily driver. Not even a weekly driver

Re: CJ stearing upgrade

Yeah, that is one of the reasons I do not want to use the rod-ends. I think they would wear out quicker than tie-rod ends. I could get new rods and ends for about 100$, but they are stock. I do not mind paying for something that I can go out and put on. I just do not have the time to mess with things. and my Camaro's T-5 is out so only have the Jeep. has any one used the Avalanche upgrade ????
